Antoine L. Samaha, MD

From his early days in medical school, Dr. Samaha developed a fascination with the intricate details of the inner workings of the kidney where the blood is processed through its 1 million tiny filters and ensuing complex handling of, minerals, waste and other substances that are carried through its tiny “plumbing” units. This fascinating, precious, and vital organ is dear to his heart and made him pursue his specialty in Nephrology. Dr. Samaha takes this job very seriously and treats every single patient with respect, open ears, and thrives to provide patient-centered and individualized care with a service that is second to none.

In addition to his interest and work in General Nephrology since 1999, he also pursued training and practice in Interventional Nephrology in early 2002 to manage the dialysis access (known as the “lifeline”) of patients with late and end-stage kidney disease in our community. These procedures are performed in an Ambulatory Surgical Center that is state of the art with unparalleled service that is based on 3 tenets: safety, comfort, and superior outcomes. It is one of the busiest and most unique in the nation and provides all lines of services in the dialysis access field which makes it very unique not only in the Tristate area but also in the entire region. He combines this expertise with absolute devotion to compassionate care and an extensive track record of industry-leading patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Dr. Samaha is proud to be associated with the Kidney and Hypertension Center, and he is proud to serve this community in the Greater Cincinnati area that he calls home.

Dr. Samaha is a sincere, dedicated professional who knows his stuff. He is a top of the list Kidney Doctor. He explains things in an understanding manner with genuine concern for your welfare. He is one of the best, if not the best, doctor of all the physicans I have ever been treated by. I highly recommend him. I have all the confidence in the world in him.

I've been with Dr. Antoine Samaha for some years now. He always takes the time to listen to my questions. In some cases, he has gone beyond my kidney disease to call out other maladies. Ten years ago, he literally saved my life.

Excellent experience, from office staff through to the MD, Dr. Samaha. Personal, informative, confidence creating, took the necessary time to answer question, and even listened closely enough to anticipate some questions. Couldn't imagine a better experience, actually.
